LIST OF PROHIBITED ITEMS FROM DUMPSTER
ITEMS PROHIBITED FROM ALL DUMPSTERS
- Asbestos
- Batteries: No Batteries of any type including Alkaline, Lithium-ion, Car Batteries
- Chemicals: No Chemicals, Toxins, Poisons or Hazardous Materials (whether liquid, spray or dry)
- This includes but is not limited to: household cleaners, sandblasting waste and materials, automobile chemicals, medical waste
- Electronics: e.g. computers, vape pens, cell phones, tablets etc.
- Equipment Tires
- Flammable: Anything listed as flammable (any thing that can catch fire even without a flame)
- Fluorescent Light Bulbs
- Gasoline/Oil or Anything containing or contaminated by Gasoline/Oils/Hazardous Waste
- Large Excavator Tracks
- Liquids: Any Liquids, including Liquid Paint. (Dry latex paint in open paint cans are acceptable)
- Solar Panels
- Vehicles and boats

ITEMS THAT HAVE AN EXTRA FEE IF FOUND INSIDE
- Automobile Tires $20
- Truck Tires $35
- Freon appliances (e.g. refrigerator, air conditioner, dehumidifier, etc.): $50
- Propane tank (only if empty) $35
- Mattresses/box springs: $75
- Mini Excavator Tracks $75
If disposal sites charge a fee for items not listed above, we reserve the right to collect the same fee. Fees may vary by item size.
OTHER FEES:
- $25 DIG OUT FEE, if contents are iced in
- $125 Trip Fee if container cannot be delivered or removed when scheduled.
Please note that if any prohibited items listed above are found in the dumpster, they may be refused and removed from the dumpster at time of pick up. For any items found in the dumpster that have an extra fee, the card on file will be charged at time of pick up and disposal automatically. The schedule of extra fees listed above is as of October 24th, 2022. This stems from State Laws within Massachusetts. We recommend recycling whenever possible, and for many of the items listed above.
